A light Peel is for more superficial problems, glycolic, lactic or salicylic acid exfoliate the surface without irritation. A cocktail of two or three of these can address multiple issues at one. To boost radiance, clean pores to reduce the size a glycolic and a salicylic acid can be used. But you must be vigilant with sun protection.
Superficial peels are not a one and done deal. In and the ideal world a client would have a light peel/dermabrasion every 4-6 weeks to maintain a glow. For acne, a series of 4-6 peels spaced two weeks apart are recommended. If you feel your skin is looking dull, now the time to seek treatment.
*Micro-Needling is a form of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) and is considered to be a non-ablative treatment for the skin. This treatment means that the deep layers of the skin are being treated without the need to remove the top layer that is often done with other cosmetic skin procedures. Micro-needling works for skin conditions such as fine lines and wrinkles, scarring caused by acne or photodamage, to treat uneven skin tone and can dramatically reduce the appearance of large pores.
*Growth Factors The main task of human growth factors is to cause cell division and multiplication. Growth factors stimulate collagen production, and epidermal growth factor stimulates skin cell production. These are used along with Micro-Needling.
*Dermaplaning provides exfoliation and hair removal all in one treatment while dramatically increasing product penetration leaving skin with a bright, youthful glow.
